Next Stop: HAWAII!!!!

On Saturday morning, Blake and I leave for 8 glorious days in Maui, Hawaii!!!  We have been looking forward to this trip for many months and are SOOOO excited that it is finally here.  It will be a really busy next couple of days getting ready, wrapping up some work events and packing!!!!  Be looking for pics as soon as we get back...

Our great friends, Tara and Peter Cavazos came out to Atlanta to visit us.... we loved getting to spend some quality time with them.  We miss them lots and are so lucky to have such great friends!

It was such a fun long weekend filled with lots of beach time, pool time, good food, great fellowship and lots of relaxation...can't wait for the next trip.

Summer Recap

We have had a very busy and very fun summer so far this year.  I can't believe we are almost into September and moving quickly into fall.  Since I am new to this blogging world, I thought I would recap some of the eventful things we've done so far...

We spent a week in Texas in May to see my family and celebrate Bonnie's (Blake's sister) high school graduation...it was so relaxing and so fun...

Congratulations!!!

One of my best friends in the entire world is now ENGAGED to her best friend!!!  Congratulations to Justin and Leslie!  They are the most adorable couple and we are all so excited for them and the future that awaits them!  We can't wait for the big day in May 2009!!

Welcome to the club...

Well, we did it... we joined the club and finally started a blog!  We thought it would be a great way to keep all of our family and friends up to date on how we are doing and what's going on in the life of the Holmans.  A little background for those of you who want to know a little more about us... Blake and I met at Baylor University when we were freshmen in 2000.  We graduated in 2004 and moved to Atlanta.  Our lives changed for the best in 2006 when Blake asked me to be his wife!  We have lived in Atlanta for 3 years and have really loved every minute of it!  For now, I will leave you with a few pics from the best day of my life...
